time management part one!

I have been focusing a lot the last year or so on time management.

I'm a mom.
A wife.
A ministry leader.
A business owner.
A writer.
And I homeschool my kids.

I have to learn to manage my time or nothing will get done! Or worse yet, everything will get done and I'll be completely burnt out. This is something I'm working on, not something I've perfected. But I have learned a ton along the way and wanted to share with you!!

I believe that God wants us to be wise with our time; He wants us to use the time that we have here on earth to the fullest! He wants us to work hard, to play hard, to serve Him endlessly! That requires some planning! With a little practice, I'm confident that we can take our time back and make it work for us and for His kingdom!

Just take a look at Ecclesiastes 3:9-13:

What gain has the worker from his toil? 10 I have seen the business that God has given to the children of man to be busy with. 11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man's heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end. 12 I perceived that there is nothing better for them than to be joyful and to do good as long as they live; 13 also that everyone should eat and drink and take pleasure in all his toil—this is God's gift to man.

Let's learn to make the most of our time so that we can find the joy of hard work, of play, of service, of love, so we can enjoy the fruits of our labors!
**Later this week we will talk about to-do lists! A task in and of itself, but one that I love and believe in!**
